Community matters
We're building this with our neighborhood. Here's what three of our founding supporters have to say.
“What I appreciate about this program is how naturally it brings engineering and coding together. Kids are learning important skills without feeling like they're sitting through another lesson.”
“My son loves building things, but Brooklyn Bot Builders takes that curiosity a step further. He's not just following instructions — he's learning to solve problems, experiment, and figure things out for himself.”
“Brooklyn needs more opportunities like this. A place where kids can get creative, work together, and build something they're genuinely proud of is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.”
Meet the founder
I'm a Brooklyn dad of two, with 20+ years in the borough and a career as an operations leader. Brooklyn Bot Builders is the hands-on engineering program I want for my own kids: a place to build something real, solve problems, and feel proud of what they made.
Brooklyn Bot Builders is a PowerUP 2026 finalist, part of Brooklyn Public Library's small-business pitch competition. We’re competing for the $20,000 prize, which could help fund equipment and opening costs if awarded. Our target is to welcome 15 founding members this fall.
